Inspired bicycles

When i was watching the Inspired Bicycles video i had to look twice, what Danny MacAskill accomplished, he was able to train himself to do tricks on the bicycle. At one time Danny probably couldn't even ride a bike. This film clip could motivate you to do something you have never done before, and to try something new, and that's exactly what this video did for me, it made me want to go outside and get active.

Did You Know 2.0

When i was watching the did you know 2.0 video in English class, it made me think about that in about every 8 second 36 babies are born all over the world, and how life will be like for them when the get older and become adults or young adults, what will the world be like for them? will it barley be thriving? And that in about 10 years the number one english speaking counrty will be China! That mygeneration will have about 10 to 14 jobs by their 38th birthday. That in the last 10 years many of our college majors didnt even exist. That 4 year old kids know how to work the internet and are using computers. We are living in "Expodential Times" where would we be without all the technology that we have now? New information is developing evey 2 years and expected to double every 72 hours! this video made me think about people and mainly how lazy we have become, and me typing this im sitting in my room on my bed with my laptop in my lap talking about how we have become so lazy. With the electronics we have now, what if we didnt have them? maybe there would be less childhood obesity and we would be outside till the street lites come on playing tag or hopscotch, what happened to the good old days?

Summer Reading Reflection

This Summer when we were given the summer reading list we had to choose two books, and the books i chose were not on the summer reading list. The first one i read was Kiki Strike and The Shadow City. This book is about a group of girls who are called the irregulars, their mission to protect an underground city and its secrets, hidden under the pipes and subway stations of new york it stays secret to the world above but well know to its cities dwellers who creep and crawl through the alleys and streets. This city of mysteries is called The shadow city. What i liked most about this book, is that its always surprising what happens next, and what kind of activities Kiki Strike is gonna get into. At every turn a new secret its amazing how it keeps my interest and making me want more, to come back and read.
The other book i read was How to Kill A Mocking Bird this book to me was eye opening on life and how racist people were and still can be against people who are different. But also at the same time how people can be so loving and even though everyone might not like you for doing the right thing, its what you believe and your doing the right thing.
